Audubon Society of Portland & Columbia Land Trust
We’ve teamed up to create a unique program that supports urban gardeners in their efforts to create natural backyard habitats. It’s through our collective efforts to revitalize urban landscapes that positive change is made. Together we make our cities a healthier place, for ourselves and for wildlife. Our community of Backyard Habitats is over 4,500 strong, and growing every day.
Our Program Area
We currently work with sites smaller than one acre throughout the cities of Portland, Gresham, and Fairview within Multnomah County, and Damascus, Gladstone, Happy Valley, Jennings Lodge, Johnson City, Lake Oswego, Milwaukie, Oak Grove, Oregon City, Rivergrove, West Linn, and Wilsonville within Clackamas County. We are currently planning on expanding into Washington County and Clark County in spring 2019. To add yourself to our wait list, or if you live outside the area, sign up here and we’ll notify you as the program expands.
