Bethany

Bethany Wray moved to Oregon during 6th grade and fell in love with our state’s natural beauty when her 2nd week at her new school was Outdoor School week! Throughout her education she has focused on watershed health, including earning her Bachelors degrees in Natural Resources and Community Education from Oregon State. Through jobs like being a park ranger, a Youth Conservation Corps Education Director, and a habitat restoration crew member, Bethany has discovered a love for outreach and education around these subjects. With experience in invasive species management, habitat restoration, naturescaping, and landscape maintenance, Bethany is excited to share her enthusiasm for Backyard Habitats with program participants. She is also the Program Coordinator at the Watershed Alliance of SW Washington, engaging the community in volunteer and educational opportunities. When she’s not working, she spends time with her husband and daughter and their two cats, and is actively involved in their local church community.
